THE COMPANY
The people at Green to Grow believe that parents are able to provoke positive changes for both their family and for the planet. All that is needed is awareness of the right information in order to make informed decisions, and access to reasonably-priced and healthy alternatives. The driving force of this company is its involvement vis-ŕ-vis children, our planet and the power of information to create a better world.
THE PRODUCT
Green to Grow baby bottles are made from polyethersulfone (PES), a plastic which contains neither phthalates nor bisphenol A, a chemical product which is thought to disrupt hormones and which is used in polycarbonate plastic (PC) from which many baby bottles are made. Recent research has revealed that baby bottles made from PC may disperse bisphenol A into liquids, which could be harmful to babies and small children.
PES is recognised for its ability to remain inert on a large temperature scale and for its exceptional solidity. Less porous and less reactive than other chemical compounds, PES is resistant to repeated exposure to high temperatures without any damage. It has been approved for dietary use.
The rings collars are made from polypropylene (PP) which is also BPA-free, and the teats are made from medical-quality non-toxic silicon. In addition, the Green to Grow baby bottles and teats have been tested in both the United States and Europe in order to ensure that they meet the most stringent standards in terms of quality and safety.
